- Pre-launch · Works with Dexcom CGM
A gentle nudge when your glucose needs attention.
gently glucose is a wrist wearable that buzzes, lights up, and sounds when your glucose crosses a threshold set by you. A quiet backup to the Dexcom alarms you already rely on; but with gently, a low or high is harder to sleep through and harder to miss.
- Works with your Dexcom CGM
- Choose vibration, sound, light, or all three
- Break your alarm fatigue
The alerts that matter most are the easiest to miss.
Your Dexcom does its job — but a phone face-down in another room, a watch you’ve learned to tune out, and a night of deep sleep can all stand between you and an alert you need to catch.
You've stopped hearing them.
The same tone, night after night, fades into the background. Alarm fatigue is real — and it’s loudest when a low reading matters most.
Alarms don't work for everyone.
Heavy and deep sleepers can rest right through a phone alarm. A buzz on the wrist or ankle is felt — not just heard — so a 3 a.m. low is harder to sleep through.
Silent, pocketed, or across the room.
Meetings, classrooms, noisy shop floors, libraries. When your phone is on silent or out of reach, a discreet vibration on your wrist still gets through. Unnoticed by others.
There's a better way
Set it up once. Then let it watch your back.
You set your thresholds in the app and pick how you want to be alerted. From then on, gently keeps an eye out and nudges your wrist when something crosses the line.
Connect Dexcom in the app
Sign in, connect your own Dexcom account, and set your high, low, and critical-low thresholds — in mg/dL or mmol/L.
Pair your bracelet
Hold button 10 seconds to pair — it blinks yellow, then glows blue to confirm. Choose the buzz, light color, and sound for each kind of alert.
Get the nudge on your wrist
When a reading crosses a threshold, your bracelet buzzes, lights, and / or sounds — even while your phone is locked or in your pocket.
- Designed by feel
Feel it. See it. Hear it
Three independent alert channels you can mix however you like. Use a gentle vibration overnight to break the alarm fatigue of your phone — and keep the sound for the times you really want it.

What gently is —
and what it isn't.
We’d rather be clear than oversell. gently glucose is a secondary alert accessory that supplements your Dexcom alarms.
- A secondary, backup alert — an extra way to notice an alert you might otherwise miss.
- A companion to your Dexcom CGM — it works with your own Dexcom account.
- A way to feel an alert through vibration and light — with optional sound.
- Not a replacement for Dexcom or its alarms.
- Not a standalone glucose monitor or a medical device.
- Not a source for treatment decisions, and not a remote monitor for someone else's device.
- 07 · Your data
Built to handle your data
your data carefully.
gently connects to your Dexcom data to do its job. Here’s how we treat the sensitive parts.
Your Dexcom credentials are encrypted and stored on gently’s secure servers — never kept on your phone, and never shown back to you in the app.
Glucose readings are never placed into alert notifications in plain, readable form — the nudge gets through without putting your numbers on the lock screen.
