A gentle nudge when your glucose needs attention.

gently glucose is a wrist wearable that buzzes, lights up, and sounds when your glucose crosses a threshold set by you. A quiet backup to the Dexcom alarms you already rely on; but with gently, a low or high is harder to sleep through and harder to miss.

01 · Problem

The alerts that matter most are the easiest to miss.

Your Dexcom does its job — but a phone face-down in another room, a watch you’ve learned to tune out, and a night of deep sleep can all stand between you and an alert you need to catch.

01 — Alarm fatigue

You've stopped hearing them.

The same tone, night after night, fades into the background. Alarm fatigue is real — and it’s loudest when a low reading matters most.

02 — At night

Alarms don't work for everyone.

Heavy and deep sleepers can rest right through a phone alarm. A buzz on the wrist or ankle is felt — not just heard — so a 3 a.m. low is harder to sleep through.

03 — Phone away

Silent, pocketed, or across the room.

Meetings, classrooms, noisy shop floors, libraries. When your phone is on silent or out of reach, a discreet vibration on your wrist still gets through. Unnoticed by others.

There's a better way

02 · How it works

Set it up once. Then let it watch your back.

You set your thresholds in the app and pick how you want to be alerted. From then on, gently keeps an eye out and nudges your wrist when something crosses the line.

01

Connect Dexcom in the app

Sign in, connect your own Dexcom account, and set your high, low, and critical-low thresholds — in mg/dL or mmol/L.

02

Pair your bracelet

Hold button 10 seconds to pair — it blinks yellow, then glows blue to confirm. Choose the buzz, light color, and sound for each kind of alert.

03

Get the nudge on your wrist

When a reading crosses a threshold, your bracelet buzzes, lights, and / or sounds — even while your phone is locked or in your pocket.

Feel it. See it. Hear it

Three independent alert channels you can mix however you like. Use a gentle vibration overnight to break the alarm fatigue of your phone — and keep the sound for the times you really want it.

Vibration

A buzz on the wrist — felt even when you can't hear it. The quiet, night-friendly channel.

Light

A color-coded glow. Pick a color per alert from seven, so a glance tells you what's going on.

Sound

Optional. Three patterns — Quick blips, a Long steady tone, or Repeated beeps — for when you want it.

04 · Who it's for

For the moments a phone alarm doesn't reach.

Heavy sleepers

For nights you sleep deep

Phone on silent

For meetings & quiet rooms

Classrooms, libraries, noisy shop floors. A tactile, visual alert is discreet and doesn’t depend on phone volume.

Calmer alerts

For breaking alarm fatigue

Choose gentle vibration and soft light instead of a loud alarm — and respond better at the times you really need to.

Families

For peace of mind at home

A noticeable nudge for the person wearing it. gently alerts the wearer, parent, or caretaker — it isn’t a remote monitor for someone else’s device.

04 · Designed to be worn

Small, light, and quiet by design.

A soft-touch enclosure, a magnetic charger, and a glow that’s easy to read at a glance. Same gently hardware — a different job.

your data carefully.

gently connects to your Dexcom data to do its job. Here’s how we treat the sensitive parts.

Credentials stay encrypted

Your Dexcom credentials are encrypted and stored on gently’s secure servers — never kept on your phone, and never shown back to you in the app.

Quiet questions,

Yes. gently glucose works with a compatible Dexcom CGM and your own Dexcom account. It’s an add-on that supplements your existing setup — it isn’t a standalone glucose monitor, and it doesn’t replace Dexcom or its alarms.

Yes. gently is a layer on top of Dexcom. To deliver an alert, your phone needs an internet connection and needs to be within Bluetooth range of the bracelet. It’s an extra way to notice an alert — not a replacement for the alarms you already rely on.

You’ll need a phone for the one-time setup (free iOS & Android app), but after that, gently runs entirely on-device. No data plan, no Wi-Fi, no ongoing connection required.

Absolutely. Each alert’s style is yours to set. Many people use gentle vibration and light overnight to break the alarm fatigue of a phone or watch, and keep sound for the times they want it.

No. gently glucose is a secondary alert accessory. It helps you notice alerts you might otherwise miss, but it is not a medical device, not a source for treatment decisions, and not a replacement for your CGM or its alarms.

gently has an Android and iOS app. We’re launching Android first for v1, with iOS to follow. You set everything up in the app — thresholds, alert styles, and pairing.

About 7 days of typical use, then a quick top-up on the magnetic charger. Exact battery life will be finalized at production.
